Wednesday, 24th March 2010 Todays order was for a gorgeous wedding cake with matching cupcakes! The theme of the wedding? Sunflowers! Both the bride and groom adore these flowers so it was very fitting that the wedding cakes should feature these beautiful flowers.
The cutting cake was a small 6″ light fruit cake and the matching cupcakes were of vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and all were topped with lovely bright yellow handmade sugar sunflowers! I thought they looked beautiful and hope that the bride and groom loved them too!
